To produce a social video that will help to promote the concept of crisis fostering in Armenia.
War, natural disasters, epidemics, violence, etc.: crises are very different and they are an integral part of our life. They come unexpectedly and often people are not ready for it, neither physically nor psychologically.
Children are the most vulnerable in any crisis. Lost childhood, distorted destinies, wounds that sometimes do not even heal in a lifetime ․․․ Ensuring the help and safety of a child on time is crucial.
Usually, a family protects a child from fear, anxiety, and horror. However, this is not always possible. Sometimes crises cause children to be separated from their families. In those cases, the foster family comes to the rescue. Crisis fostering is temporary care of a child in a family, which is professionally prepared to respond to the needs of a child in a crisis. These families have the full support of state services and social workers. With the crisis fostering system, the state ensures the right of a child to be in a family and to be protected during any crisis.
The video was shooted in August of 2020, one month before the war in the Republic of Artsakh.
