To create the visual concept for the game aimed to develop Cross-cultural Communication skills among young people. Naming, creating the logotype as well as the design of all the items included in the board game package was required.
The Armenian word Քարկապ (pronounced as Qarkap) was selected as the name of the board game. The meaning of the word in the Armenian language reflects the main philosophy of the game, which is to create connections between different cultures.
The visual part of the game was built around the naming concept. In particular, the logotype consists of the name and the symbol of “Qarkap”, the board, game cards and other components are branded to serve the game’s functionality (by UX principles) as well as to have an attractive packaging of the board game.
